We're not just building BWR nuclear power plants.

We're building the future.

Solving tomorrow's energy needs with proven nuclear technology and decades of expertise.

Purpose

Advancing the Nordic BWR legacy

Nordic Nuclear Energy (NNE) advances and modernizes the proven Nordic boiling water reactor platform.

BWR-N continues the evolutionary path established by Oskarshamn 3 and Forsmark 3 — building on a design philosophy grounded in safety, regulatory continuity, and operational performance.

Our purpose is to ensure that large-scale fossil-free baseload power remains reliable, industrially viable, and economically predictable for future generations.

Our vision

Our vision is for the Nordics to re-establish leadership in advanced reactor technology – anchored in proven engineering, regulatory credibility, and long-term energy security.

Strategic Aspirations

Advance the Nordic BWR platform through evolutionary engineering and disciplined industrial execution.

Maintain regulatory continuity and technical credibility while strengthening the Nordic nuclear supply chain.

Develop complementary technologies where strategically justified, without compromising the focus on BWR-N as the primary commercial platform.

Nordic and Global Expansion

Establish a strong industrial presence in Sweden and Finland through the deployment of BWR-N.

Expand regionally through strategic partnerships aligned with Nordic regulatory frameworks and energy system needs.

Pursue international opportunities selectively, based on proven delivery capability and long-term system integration.

The Team

The team has 450+ years of combined nuclear expertise, spanning project management, plant and process engineering, I&C, power supply, safety analysis, materials, and commissioning.
